Overview
The Water Division is responsible for producing and delivering drinking water that meets or exceeds all federal and state standards. This division owns and operates:
- More than 220 miles of underground piping
- 4 drinking water treatment facilities
- 1 reservoir watershed
- 4 booster pumping stations
- 5 dams
- 8 groundwater wells
This system serves over 11,000 residential and commercial customer connections.
Water Use Restriction
Per the Massachusetts Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA), the Connecticut River Valley region is currently experiencing drought conditions. Because of this, Westfield Water customers are required to adhere to a restriction in water usage.
